Meet Lilly, Pictured as a puppy above and show camping. She's our resident herding dog and service dog. Highly intelligent and easy to raise.

Poodles are one of the dogs breeds that don't shed, but because of there thick and easily matted fur they are rather hard to groom. Mixing them with Bernese Mountain Dog, Golden Retrievers, Labradors and many others helps with the not as thick and easily matted fur. Not only do poodles and these mixes not shed (or shed very little) but they also don't have a smelly odor. Unless you know how to shave your Poodles fur you would have to bring them to the groomer every couple of months. With the mixes you still have to shave them, but their fur doesn't grow as fast, so you don't have to take them to the groomer as much (but still have the benefit of no shedding). If you are looking for a dog that does not shed or sheds very little the doodle breeds are what you are looking for.
